Hooman Nematolahi

My name is Hooman Nematolahi. I was ten years old when my dad taught me basic photography with an old camera. I spent my days with that, mesmerized by the magic of film and photography. Cinema and filmmaking has always been my passion. I worked on a few projects back home. Due to political situation in my country I had to move to Canada and in here I went to VFS. After graduation, I started working on many projects and tried to learn as much as possible. Throughout this, I had the experience of being the director of photography for short films and music videos, colorist, 1st and 2nd AC for many low-budget projects, and taking part in workshops from ASC and CSC. While working on those experiences, I had the opportunity to work with many talented individuals, enjoy the experience, and learn from it.
